The Geek Initiative
The Geek Initiative was founded in May of 2013. After co-moderating and/or participating in a popular online Avengers role playing group, the founding editors decided to collaborate on a website that would feature geeky content from a female perspective. The Geek Initiative aims to explore anything and everything geeky – film, literature, cosplay, conventions, video games, RPGs and more – on a site that celebrates and respects women’s contributions to geek culture

LARP.GUIDE
LARP.GUIDE was founded with a desire to make a useful calendar and magazine style blog. The hope was to combine good design with useful features in a way that the LARP community would find helpful to getting on and doing what’s important – playing the game.
LARP.GUIDE is a mixture of event calendar/database and some thoughtful articles around LRP theory. Its run (at least in part) by Charlotte Moss, so also includes some of her fantastic photography
Its not been updated for a while but there's still loads of great material on there
