Access: LARP
Access: LARP was an organisation designed to provide resources to make LARP more accessible to all players. Players can have varying needs, stemming from disability or mental health concerns, that can make taking part in an event a potential challenge. However making an event accessible can be easy with just a little thought and guidance. Additionally there are things that players can do to make their games go more smoothly.
Access: LARP provides guides and resources for both LARP organisers and players to help make our hobby more accessible.
Remember, accessibility isn’t about making the game easier, it’s about making it just as challenging as for everybody else.

LARPfund
Many LARPs are no longer simple friends-in-the-forest affairs, but rather elaborate productions with significant production values, stunning venues with food and lodging included in the price. Organisers have also become more professional, and wisely less prone to take risks with their personal economies. Naturally, this means that price increases, often dramatically, and we have followed closely the ongoing discussions on event pricing over the last few years. Even if there still is a substantial amount of cheaper LARPs still available, almost all of the well-known, high-profile LARPevents are in the higher price range, and this threatens to create a sharp divide between those who can routinely afford them, and those who cannot.
Game organisers can apply for a number of subsidised tickets for their game. If granted, the fund will contribute up to 50% of the price of those tickets if they are sold. The organisers are expected to donate a share of their profits to the fund if the game generates a surplus. The prerequisites for subsidised tickets are that the person is in need of the subsidised ticket for some economical reason (organisers decide) and that the same person have not received a subsidised ticket the same year. People who don't larp regularly should be prioritised.
