Northern Kingdoms - A Witcher LARP
Northern Kingdoms is inspired by the popular Witcher video games by CD Projekt Red, books by Andrzey Sapkowski and the Witcher School in Poland, where You are the heroes of the Northern Kingdoms fighting in the third Nilfgaardian war, defending the common folk against monsters and bandits and maybe save the world from denizens of great malice and destruction from out side our world.
Our aim is to create a dark and dangerous dynamic world where players create characters caught up in the conflict that engulfs the Northern Kingdoms of the world of Witcher.
During Witcher Larp events players will be able to battle the forces of the Nilfgaardian Empire, fight monsters, create powerful artefacts and rub shoulders with the lords and ladies of the realm all in an attempt to influence the war for better or for worst.
Witcher Larp is a system designed and run by IED games who also run Call of Cthulhu Larp based in West Yorkshire.
We are currently in the process of designing the system mechanics with an aim to run our first event late 2018.

Parhelion: Age of the Fallen Star

Rising of Chaos

Rising of Chaos is a live role-playing game set in a high fantasy world of adventures, magic, politics and exploration. The system has been designed to support character development through weekly game events, whilst also allowing for the advancement of game areas that cannot be achieved by bashing each other in the woods.
Rising of Chaos uses a live action combat system which means that if you want to take part in the game you have to be happy with being hit by, and hitting others with, live role-playing weapons that have passed a safety check by the system.

World of Alrune
The World of Alrune is a lush fertile land, covered with forests, mountains, grass and oceans. A single continent maintaining the name of the world 'Alrune' with its sprawling empires and kingdoms, The Republic of Corena becoming the most dominant. The sister Kingdoms of Retuia and Aiuter, still fighting wars which the cause has long been forgotten.
The underground Dwarven kingdoms, the City of Kar’Kok being the proud capital of the 'stunties' and which also guards the entrance of the underworld. The Elven forests of Silher and Venerale boarding the lands of the humans, Lands known as Talelands by the common folk. The Magical towers of the Mages watch over these lands for signs of evil draconic hoards. The Wastes of Gorlith being the home of Draconis-Vulgaris, the disgusting and vile dragonkind of the UnderLord and his many servants.
In the first age the Humani was brought to Alrune by a star falling from the heavens. It has been said that tales of honour and valour spread though the humani tribes, while the elves and dwarfs witnessed horror, evil and tragedy. The Underlord revealed his presence to the power hungry humani as they settled upon the eastern dark lands, never to leave. In the southern lands The Corena Republic Supporting some hundreds of thousands of humani within its borders, ruled by the High Senate with the Consul ruling over all. The Senate masters, leaders of the 7 states of Reebus, Angtila, Purisha, Gora, Rosillia, Urka-Tolph and finally Corena.. The Kingdom of Aiuter, the Land of the undead is said to parallel Retuia almost exactly. That is if you were looking though some perverse mirror. Where there is life in Retuia, there is death in Aiuter. The lands are almost identical bar the fact that one is lush and full of life while the other is dark, foreboding and full of the 'undead'.
The Dwarven City of Kar’Kok ruled over by the ancient UnderKing, This ancient dwarf is said to have witnessed the fall of the star many hundreds of thousands of moons ago. Secretive are the dwarfs of this underground city, its location hard to find even for those whom have lived there all their lives. The vile UnderLord, Arch enemy to the UnderKing and bane of all lawful people whose wickedness has plagued the lands of Alrune for many a year. The Soliruia Mage Lords, once masters of the arcane and sorcery were exiled as the source of their power vanished along with all hope.
At the end of the third age, the outlook for the free people of Alrune was bleak, a darkness was creeping from the east that none seemed able to deny.
Now, in the fourth age of Alrune a new wind has begun to blow. News of the return of Soliruia and of Magic has brought new hope. Word has spread of a heir to the old Kingdom that lays hidden, far from even the most keen sighted. The Republic on the brink of annihilation has found new allies in the most remote of locations. The Nobles of Retuia with the most holy of orders - The Order of the Wulfen have begun to turn the tide.
However victory is far from the minds of the Humani and the many races, the shadow still extends and threatens to engulf all of the free lands. Desperation is seeping into those of weak minds, soon could be the end of those who value honour, law, compassion and above all... life.

Wilde Realms
"Over the past seven years, among many shifts and changes, reports have in some places been alarming. Stories now speak of small towns and villages calling for aid that may simply be gone when anyone comes to investigate. And as disappearances plague the Mortal Realm, so too do appearances, the folk speak of strange objects and sounds in the forests and scholars report fluctuations of distortive magics that seem to bubble and swell in influenced areas, sometimes causing madness. What is worse than Farmers stories by a league are the Horrors. The name the common folk have ascribed to the Bogeymen of Fables made real, as Horrors, monsters and nightmares in physical form have begun to roam the long roads, and to stalk the great passages of ocean between Kingdoms.
It is said by those who frequent the courts of the realm that Fey nobles have begun to visit, looking to expand their political influence and seek advancement to their unknowable agendas. These houses include the regal Kesho Imperium, Martial House Myrmidos, The scholarly Phaerak Dynasty and noble House Valdez. Not much is known about these Houses, but one thing is certain; They all have their own motivations and objectives.
All eyes will be on the expedition, to see what decisions they make and what alliances they form. No matter what, the coming events and trials will be perilous and test the core of those brave souls who step up to explore the new unknown.
